Who can apply

Independent producers co-producing from at least two Eurimages member states

Limited to Europe. The test is where your company is registered. The source only partly spells this out, so read the official rules.

What you get

Grant of up to €150,000; larger awards are advances on receipts, capped at €500,000

Headline amount€150,000Awards ≤€150,000 are non-refundable. If award exceeds €150,000, the WHOLE award is an advance on receipts. Programme maximum €500,000 belongs to that separate branch.

Amounts stay in the currency the organiser uses. Caps, totals and alternatives are listed as published; don’t add them up.

What it costs

The official page didn’t state an entry fee when we read it on 17 Oct 2026. That isn’t the same as free: check the form before you count on it.

What to bring

The materials list isn’t in our notes. The application form will have it.

Terms to read first

Additional notes2026 rules: 17% total-production-cost ceiling for fiction/animation, or 25% for documentary or qualifying female-director projects; overall ceiling €500,000. These percentages and the €150,000 mechanism threshold apply separately.
CashflowFiction/animation rate normally ≤17% of film budget; documentaries and qualifying female-directed projects up to 25%. Contract and country rules control.
Money termsActual awarded amount determines subsidy versus advance; current 2026 rules need 2027 confirmation.
