A version or element that should not be changed without explicit approval.

“The deck should use the locked consistently rather than as decoration.”

You may encounter “Locked” in pitch materials & presentation design conversations or materials.

Why it matters: Tells you what document, visual asset or file someone is asking for or reviewing.

Final“Final” is a naming claim; “locked” says further change is procedurally restricted. A file can be called final and still change.
